Marriage Encounter Weekend
The Marriage Encounter Weekend is a 3-day retreat for couples that is meant to nourish their marriage bond. The Marriage Encounter Weekend, or M.E. Weekend, tackles how God is the third party in a couple’s marriage. Led by a spiritual director, the M.E. Weekend goes through how the marriage relationship can be nourished. Containing practical advice on empathy, communication and other practices, the M.E. Weekend is an experiential retreat to be shared with other couples.
The M.E. Weekend follows the original format designed by Magis Deo founder Fr. Ruben M. Tanseco, S.J. It is the principal apostolate of the Magis Deo Community. We have run M.E. Weekends in Manila since 1986.
